H-Star Base Station Maps

Subfoot (30 cm) and decimeter (10 cm/4 in) levels of accuracies are now achievable with the GeoExplorer® GeoXH™ handheld, and the GPS Pathfinder® ProXRT and GPS Pathfinder ProXH™ receivers using Trimble® H-Star™ technology. High accuracy using H-Star technology can be achieved either in real-time (GeoExplorer 2008 series GeoXH handheld and GPS Pathfinder ProXRT receiver only) or after post-processing (all H-Star receivers).

H-Star Base Station Infrastructure for Postprocessed Accuracy

For postprocessed subfoot accuracy using H-Star technology you require 3 dual-frequency base stations within 200 kilometers of your field location, or a single dual-frequency base station within 80 km. Trimble has analyzed the worldwide base station network and produced maps that allow you to see if you are have the necessary base station coverage in your area. The base stations used in this analysis are publicly available dual-frequency base stations in the Trimble base station list. More base stations may also be available in your area. For details contact your local Trimble Reseller.

H-Star Base Station Infrastructure for Real-Time Accuracy

Infrastructure to support real-time H-Star operation is expanding all the time, with the most accessible infrastructure for most applications generally being a Virtual Reference Station network. Click the following links for more information about Trimble® VRS™ technology and the Trimble VRS Now™ services operating in number of countries and states.
